Affordability
All families need a voice, now more than ever. As costs rise and our dollars continue to be spread thin, passing additional costs on to the citizens of Wilsonville should be avoided. Creative budgeting can support current service levels without passing along additional costs to residents.
Infrastructure
Wilsonville’s Boone Bridge is a vital piece of infrastructure for the entire Willamette Valley. Advocacy for state and federal funds to support Boone Bridge replacement is critical. I commit to prioritizing this effort before disaster strikes. Wilsonville is known for its traffic. Continued support for surface street traffic studies and future projects will help mitigate traffic issues that spill over from I-5 and create headaches for Wilsonville residents.
Business
Support for local businesses in industrial areas, existing businesses, and attraction of new businesses to walkable areas that will be revitalized in the future. Wilsonville needs the right mix of businesses that support the needs of citizens, industry, and visitors. A variety of businesses can coexist. Wilsonville needs to continue attracting living wage and union jobs. No new industry that will harm our natural resources or drive up environmental and financial costs to residents -
No new Data Centers.
Fresh Perspective
A historical perspective of what Wilsonville once was, balanced with a vision for the future that keeps Wilsonville a place families want to invest in. Perspectives from working families should be a priority in local decision-making. I understand what it's like to juggle work, family, home, and community involvement. I have built my life here, and want to support every community member to have this same opportunity. I came back because Wilsonville is such a safe and supportive community, I want this to remain true for generations to come.
A Voice for Everyone
Transparency and trust in decision-making are crucial. Every resident deserves to know how decisions are made and feel that they had a fair opportunity to participate, whether they have lived here for years or just moved here. Ease of access to participation in local government matters. Accessible meetings, use of plain language, and more opportunities for all citizens to be heard. Wilsonville’s greatest strength is its people. Our local government should reflect that every resident is respected, information is shared openly, and all residents have meaningful opportunities to contribute. When people trust the process, even difficult decisions can be more broadly supported.
Saying "Yes"
Listening to the citizens of Wilsonville, and navigating bureaucratic systems to help remove barriers. The answer might be “yes and” or “yes but”, but leadership that is committed to finding a way to listen to residents while finding paths forward is more important than ever.
